Mission Opportunities

At FPC, we reach out in Christ’s love to this community and beyond. Our congregation is involved with many local organizations, some of which can be found on our Community Ministries page under the Ministries tab. Below is a list of First Presbyterian Church’s ministries run by our staff and congregation.

FPC Friendship Table

For over 30 years, First Presbyterian Church has provided a good, hot meal for anyone in the community who needs one. This ministry, which is run by volunteers of the church, feeds over 75 people every week. The meal takes place in our Fellowship Hall at 6:00 on Tuesdays. Working with Friendship Table is a rewarding way to have fellowship with other church members while serving those in need. Our volunteers cook, serve the meal, clean up, and provide transportation. If you would like to be part of this worthwhile ministry, please call the church office at 770-382-3511, or sign up online under the Ministries drop-down.

Presbyterian Paws

Volunteers and their beloved pets visit nursing homes and other locations to offer a helping paw, a hug, and encouragement through the comfort and companionship of dogs and cats.

Support for DFCS Families

FPC supports Bartow County Division of Family & Children Services families by offering Parents Night Out opportunities and Angel Tree Christmas gifts for foster children.

Mission Trips

We provide opportunities for hands-on involvement in the work of Christ for all ages. From local at home mission work, to national and international trips, youth and adults reach out as the hands and feet of Christ.
