Youth Group

Youth Group is for students in grades 6-12.  We meet on Sunday evenings from 4:30-6:30pm in the Upper Room.   We begin with fellowship, followed by a Bible Study lesson, snacks and games. 

Wednesday Night Youth meets from 6:30-7:15pm in the Upper Room.   We spend the first half in recreation and the second half with a Bible Study Lesson.

Upcoming Trips and Events

Youth Spring Break Camping Trip:  April 5-8

We are joining the youth from Mars Hill PC as we go primitive camping at St. Andrews State Park in Florida.

Confirmation Day, May 2nd

All youth are invited to help host a breakfast at 9:45am, for our Confirmands this day!   Our students will be confirmed at the 11am worship service.

Middle School End-of-Year LOCK-IN!!   Friday May 21st

We are going to Westminster Presbyterian in Rome with our friends from Cherokee Presbytery for a night full of fun, games, and food!

Vacation Bible School Youth Volunteers: June 7-10

Montreat Youth Conference, “In These Waters”:  June 13-19, 2010
All rising freshmen-graduated seniors are eligible to attend the Montreat Youth Conference.  We’ll spend a week in Montreat, NC, with nearly a thousand other Presbyterian youth.  Each morning we hear the keynote speaker, then we break out into our small groups.  There are recreation opportunities, a talent show, paddle-boating, a free afternoon to explore Black Mountain, and more!  

Presbyterian Youth Triennium:  July 20-24

Two of our Sr. High Youth will be joining the Cherokee Presbytery’s delegation to this conference at Purdue University where they will worship and spend time in small groups with thousands of Presbyterian Youth from across the country.
